A Slice of Italy In Tankerton, Kent
For a truly memorable dining experience, every dish tells a story. We use the freshest locally sourced ingredients alongside the finest quality produce imported directly from Italy, cooked with passion and with one simple aim: to make every guest feel truly special.
A Family Passion for Authentic Italian Food
Founded in 2019, Basil & Co began as a small street food stall in Portobello Road before finding its home here in Tankerton, Kent. At the heart of it all is a family. Executive Chefs Sammy & Keith (father and son in law) and Front of House Managers Hannah & Tracie (mother and daughter) united by a love of genuine Italian cooking.
As we always say: life is better with good food and good company. We cannot wait to welcome you.

Authentic Flavours, Crafted Daily
We keep our menu intentionally small so that every dish can be prepared fresh to order, with the care and attention it deserves. We also love introducing weekly specials, inspired by the very best seasonal ingredients we can source each week.
More than just a restaurant, we're a place where guests become family. Freshness, warmth and genuine Italian flavour are at the heart of everything we do.

A Taste of Italy
Crafted with the finest imported Italian ingredients, each dish is a journey through the regions of Italy.
Wild Boar Ravioli
Handcrafted Tuscan wild boar ravioli, topped with a succulent slow-cooked pork ragu of three premium pork meats, gently simmered for hours in rich dark ale for exceptional depth of flavour.
Fiocchi
(GF alternative available) Delicious parcels of pasta filled with caramelised pear and Italian cheeses, topped with our signature four cheese fondue. Finished with a touch of luxurious black truffle and a little added crunch from toasted walnuts. This dish is a cheese lover's dream with a delightful fruity twist.
Burrata
An outer shell of bufala mozzarella & a creamy interior of stracciatella (deliciously creamy mozzarella) straight from Naples!
